If you need to quickly identify all the pictures in a layout, here’s an XTension for you:

Nametag from Vision’s Edge that helps you quickly identify all the pictures used on each page. It places a text box either on or near every picture, then fills the text box with the name of the file, optionally including the full directory path to that file on your hard drive or network.

The text boxes are standard QuarkXPress items, so you can move or style them however you like. Nametag can also quickly remove all the Nametag boxes at once.

Nametag works with QuarkXPress 8, 7, 6, 5, or 4  and costs $49; upgrades cost $15.
