QuarkXPress 8: Now It’s Easy to See What’s Been Found in Find/Change

Tip

Oh Joy! In laying out this month’s issue of Design Tools Monthly, I discovered that Quark fixed a longstanding Find/Change annoyance: previously, when using Edit> Find/Change, the found text would display in a seemingly random location. Often, the text was hiding under the giant Find/Change window.

But in QuarkXPress 8, the found text always appears in the center of the window. So, by keeping my Find/Change window off to the side, I could quickly see each instance of found text.

Whew! What a relief!
